You will work alongside family physicians and healthcare professionals across a range of specialties, promoting integrated, coordinated care for patients with complex medical needs.
Modern digital systems, streamlined administration and efficient workflows help minimise paperwork, allowing physicians to focus on delivering outstanding clinical care.

Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic adult medical conditions Developing individualised treatment and long-term management plans Requesting, performing and interpreting diagnostic investigations, including laboratory tests and medical imaging Prescribing medications and evidence-based treatments Providing specialist consultations and clinical advice to referring physicians and healthcare professionals Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within your scope of practice and clinical privileges Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans where appropriate Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical records Working collaboratively with family physicians, specialists and allied healthcare professionals Participating in quality improvement, clinical governance and continuing professional development activities Candidate Requirements Applicants should: Hold a medical degree from a recognised medical school Have completed an approved residency programme in Internal Medicine Hold, or be eligible for, certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) Hold, or be eligible for, medical licensure in the Province of Alberta Be a member in positive standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or be eligible to obtain membership Additional accredited subspecialty training would be advantageous but is not essential Physicians relocating from the UK or internationally are encouraged to enquire, subject to licensing eligibility Why Calgary?
