Responsibilities Work alongside Managers, Directors, and Partners to provide advice on, and support team members with the adoption and implementation of: The Canadian CPA Rules of Professional Conduct, Codes of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics The Public Company Accounting Oversight Boards (PCAOB) Ethics & Independence Rules The Securities Exchange Commissions (SEC) Auditor Independence Rules Ensure the Firms continued compliance with regulatory standards, rules of professional conduct,



and internal policies Play a key role in coordinating and reviewing client press releases to ensure timely and relevant updates to the Firms prohibited investment listings Collaborate with team members to create high-quality and timely ethics-related thought leadership and training for MNPs in-house education program Contribute to the development of new ideas, education, and approaches to improve work processes Assist in the identification, development, and implementation of technology solutions Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary Skills and Experience Completion of a Chartered Skilled Accountant (CPA) designation 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset General knowledge of the various Canadian provincial/territorial CPA rules of professional conduct, including the independence and conflicts of interest rules Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a reputation for high quality standards Ability to maintain discretion in recognizing, protecting, and adhering to absolute confidentiality of highly sensitive information Collaborative and proactive, with proven written and oral communication skills Relationship building and leadership skills Knowledge and experience with any of the following are considered an asset: The International Ethics Standards Boards (IESBA) International Code of Ethics for Skilled Accountants The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Code of Professional Conduct
