Our client has a requirement for an Alberta-based Senior

Program Director to lead a high-profile Business Technology Renewal (BTR) Program for a large Alberta-based organization.

This is an opportunity to lead an enterprise-wide transformation program that will modernize business and technology capabilities while working closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

If you have a track record of successfully leading enterprise transformation programs and enjoy working with senior leaders to drive meaningful organizational change, we''d love to hear from you. 6-month contract with possible extensions.

Alberta-based Must Have: 10+ years of experience in IT program and project management , including leading large, complex enterprise transformation initiatives. 5+ years leading enterprise-wide programs involving multiple projects, cross-functional teams, budgets, risks, and executive stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience establishing or enhancing program governance and PMO frameworks .

Proven ability to lead and influence senior business and technology leaders in a complex organizational environment.

Experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.

Strong experience with strategic planning, program execution,



risk management, and executive reporting. PMP (Project Management Qualified) certification is required.

Nice-to-Have: PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification.

Experience within higher education, government, or other public-sector organizations.

Experience mentoring Project Managers and advancing project management maturity.

Master''s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience working within hybrid or matrix organizational structures.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership and governance for a portfolio of strategic business and technology initiatives.

Establish and oversee program governance, planning, risk management, and reporting.

Partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to align program priorities with organizational objectives.

Lead cross-functional planning across multiple project teams to ensure successful program delivery.

Coach and mentor project managers while promoting project management best practices and consistency.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate program progress, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership.
