Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Tasks Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions Harvest seedlings Seed cutting Soil fertility programs Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Maintain quality control and production records Hire and train staff Perform general farm duties Cut horticultural crops Work conditions and physical capabilities Quick-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Physically demanding Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Personal suitability Organized Team player Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
