Compensation: $23.00 per hour

Location: London, Ontario

Schedule: 16–32 hours per week; diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to individuals in home and community settings in accordance with assigned support plans

Support daily routines, personal care, companionship, and community participation

Create and maintain a safe, calm, and respectful environment during each shift

Use clear communication, redirection, and de-escalation strategies when challenges arise

Collaborate respectfully with families, supervisors, and team members

Complete, accurate and timely documentation for each shift

Follow all Oak’s Loft Care policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications.

CYW, DSW Certificate or related education and/or relevant experience in support work.

Experience supporting individuals with varying support needs is an asset





Reliable, dependable, and professional

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries

Multilingualism and diverse lived experience are considered assets

Requirements

Valid G Driver’s Licence

Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (current or willingness to obtain)

Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (or willingness to obtain prior to assignment)

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) is an asset and may be required depending on assignment

Ability to meet the practical demands of the role
