Job Summary

We're looking for experienced and passionate Baristas to help support our team. Only candidates that apply in person will be considered. Latte art is an asset. Average hourly pay with gratuities is $28/hour.

The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing espresso beverages, enjoys working in a busy coffee shop environment, and is capable of effectively taking direction and multitasking. A successful candidate will have coffee shop experience, bartending experience, a passion for making drinks, and strong customer service skills. This is the perfect prospect for the dedicated Barista to become a part of an innovative and energetic team that develops new products and is part of a fantastic community. Baristas at L'espresso receive good tips compared to other coffee shops in the city.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Barista has:





- Proven experience in Customer Service
- An outgoing personality and passion for exceptional service
- A keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency during rushes

Requirements and skills

- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
