Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick items from designated locations using order picker equipment and ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit and proper labeling for delivery
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals while adhering to quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is essential
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Experience with order picker machines or other warehouse automation tools is a plus
- Construction or industrial experience that involves load & unload operations is advantageous
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation accuracy and safety compliance
