Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled individuals to join our team at Pizzaiolo Oshawa. At Pizzaiolo your responsibilities will be but not limited to, preparing delicious pizzas and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers, attending the cash register and serving our guests, deliveries (if capable). Duties:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to the menu and customer preferences
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Assist with phone/cashier and or deliveries as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a restaurant or pizzeria
- Knowledge of various pizza doughs, sauces, and toppings
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in pizza preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Must have Canadian drivers license
- Must be able to work closing shifts. Closing shifts range from 5pm - 10pm during weekdays and 5pm - 12am during weekends (Friday and Saturday)
