The Director, HR & Workplace Investigations provides leadership within our investigations practice while remaining closely connected to the work. You will oversee complex matters, coach investigators, support quality and consistency, and contribute to the ongoing development of our investigation practices, particularly in unionized and labour‑relations‑sensitive environments. Lead and oversee workplace investigations and senior HR advisory workProvide guidance on labour relations and unionized workplace issuesReview investigation reports and provide clear, constructive feedbackSupport investigator development and wellbeing on complex filesContribute to investigation tools, templates, and practice standardsPartner with colleagues on client relationships and proposal developmentRepresent Veritas with clients and industry partnersWhat we are looking for
Required
Minimum five years of HR leadership experience, including labour relations and work in a unionized environmentYou will likely also bring
Experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigationsStrong written, judgment‑based reporting skillsComfort providing firm, respectful feedbackLeadership or mentorship experienceAlignment with values of care, fairness, and harm preventionWork arrangement and compensation
