Manage and grow relationships with important business clients and prospects across Ontario, while supporting the Director on strategic accounts and priorities.Act as a key link between Ontario clients and Desjardins, ensuring clients have the right products, services and support.Identify client needs and develop tailored financing and banking solutions, working with the Director on more complex opportunities.Prepare integrated service offers that balance client satisfaction, profitability and risk management.Negotiate product and service terms within established guidelines, with Director support as needed.Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategies to support growth, profitability and sound risk management.Identify new business opportunities and help expand Desjardins’ presence in Ontario’s business community.Collaborate with the Director and internal partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for Ontario clients, including lending, cash management, foreign exchange and specialized services.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldA minimum of five years of experience in commercial banking, corporate banking, business banking or a related financial services workplace, with exposure to mid-market or large corporate clientsExperience working independently while supporting the Director on strategic accounts, complex transactions and broader portfolio prioritiesAdvanced experience managing client relationships independently, identify client needs and develop practical financing solutions that support growth, acquisitions, refinancing or working capital requirementsAdvanced experience preparing credit submissions, service offers, internal recommendations or client-facing proposals that clearly present business rationale,



financial considerations and key risksAdvanced experience in business development, including the ability to identify prospects, deepen existing relationships and support growth across Ontario’s business communityExpert knowledge and understanding of senior debt financing, credit analysis, cash flow lending, financial statement analysis, risk assessment and loan structuringStrong negotiation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and collaborate effectively with internal partnersExpert understanding of sound judgment, attention to detail, and balancing client objectives with profitability, credit quality, and risk management expectationsKnowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, syndicated lending or specialized financial solutions is consideredCore Competencies
