Home Painter – Job Description Position: Home Painter About the Role We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Home Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and ensuring every project is completed professionally and on schedule. Responsibilities - Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming. - Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and landscaping before painting. - Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. - Match paint colours and ensure a smooth, even finish. - Repair minor drywall imperfections before painting. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Follow all health and safety procedures. - Communicate professionally with homeowners and project managers. - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment. - Complete projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications - Previous residential painting experience is preferred.



- Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. - Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, and painting equipment safely. - Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are an asset. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
