Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed descriptions of necessary work and options
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle health and safety
- Handle transactions accurately, process payments
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle histories to ensure seamless workflow
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive service advising is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to understand technical repair details
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach
- Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Experience with automotive repair processes and familiarity with dealership operations
- Competence with AutoLeap is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical information to customers of all backgrounds
