We’re working with a fast-growing North American fintech business that is expanding its ERP partner channel.
The company provides a payments and accounts receivable automation platform that helps service-based businesses improve invoicing, payments, collections, reconciliation and cash flow.
Following continued growth, they are now looking for an ERP Partnerships Lead to build and develop relationships across ERP ecosystems including:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- NetSuite
- Sage and Sage Intacct
- ERP implementation partners
- VARs, ISVs and accounting software partners
This is not a junior Partner Development Representative position or a role where you will simply be handed an existing list of accounts.
You will take ownership of developing the ERP partner channel, opening new relationships, generating partner-sourced opportunities and helping shape a repeatable partnership strategy as the function grows.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Identifying and engaging relevant ERP implementation partners, ISVs, resellers and referral partners
- Building new partner relationships from the ground up
- Developing a solid pipeline of partner-sourced opportunities
- Creating commercial value for both the company and its partners
- Working closely with sales, marketing and leadership to develop the ERP partner strategy
- Representing the business at ERP, fintech and industry events
- Supporting partners with positioning, enablement and joint go-to-market activity
- Helping establish the structure, processes and metrics needed to scale the partnerships function
What they are looking for
Prior meaningful ERP experience is essential.
You may currently work for an ERP software vendor, implementation partner, ISV,
fintech business or another company selling technology into the ERP ecosystem.
Relevant backgrounds could include:
- ERP partnerships or alliances
- Channel sales or channel development
- Partner account management
- ERP or SaaS business development
- ISV partnerships
- ERP software sales
- Fintech or payments partnerships
You should have
- A strong understanding of how ERP vendors, implementation partners, ISVs and resellers work together
- Experience building commercial relationships from scratch
- A genuine hunter mentality
- Evidence of generating pipeline or revenue through partners
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The confidence to help shape a growing function rather than inherit a finished programme
- Experience within Business Central, NetSuite, Sage or a similar ERP ecosystem
Package and location
- Up to $100,000 CAD base salary
- $40,000 CAD commission
- Stock options
- Three days per week in either the Toronto or Vancouver office
- Travel for partner meetings and industry events when required
The three-day office requirement applies across the company and is not a remote-working position.
Why consider it?
- Build an ERP partnerships function rather than simply manage an existing channel
- Take ownership of a greenfield market opportunity
- Work directly with senior leadership
- Join a funded, high-growth fintech business
- Operate across ERP, payments, financial automation and SaaS
- Earn partner-sourced revenue while helping define the long-term channel strategy
This could be a strong opportunity for someone currently working in ERP partnerships, channel sales, alliances or business development who is ready to take broader ownership and build something from an early stage.
