Looking for a full time Cook to compliment our dietary team. Day shifts and every second weekend.

This role reports to the Food and Service Manager. The cook is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and served on time while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment

Key Responsibilities includes:

- Meal Preparation
- Sanitary Maintenance
- Assist with day to day kitchen requirements

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a cook
- Grade 12 diploma
- Experience working in a Retirement Home setting is an asset
- Relevant culinary certification or institutional cooking experience
- A current provincial Secure Food Handling Certificate is also required





The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to the well-being of our residents

Please note that a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Persons Check and completion of required courses are mandatory for this position

Salary to be determined based on experience.
