RJames Western Star offers sales, maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and semi-trucks. We are seeking a Parts Driver/Warehouse Person to join our team at our Rocky View location.

The Parts Driver drives a company vehicle for delivering and picking up parts and/or equipment for/or on behalf of the Dealership. Additionally, this position also fulfills shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the daily administration processing of orders, receiving and shipping duties.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock. Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
- Arranges transportation and prepares documentation for materials using air or ground – labels & bills of lading.
- Receives, tracks and organizes shipments and ensures they are complete and in good order.
- Operates non-powered material handling equipment i.e. dollies, pallet jacks.
- Assists all Parts and Service personnel (retail and shop) in locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Some Customers require their delivery to be put away in the order of their company set up.
- Quick response time to a Customer’s complaint.
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.




- Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery that is a cash sale.
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request the recipient's signature on each delivery entry or on the invoice.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Minimum one year experience in a shipping receiving, supply chain or warehouse is necessary
- Must be able to work in a high pressure environment safely
- Must be able to present yourself in a positive, professional manner to colleagues and customers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- One year experience preferred
- Must be able to work in a high pressure workplace safely
- Must be able to present yourself in a positive, qualified manner to colleagues and customers
