Aircraft Avionic Technician

The Aircraft Technician (Avionic) performs avionics and modification activities in accordance with manufacturers' manuals, approved data, and the company's established requirements.

Available Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 2:45 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Under the authority of the Avionics Supervisor, the Aircraft Technician (Avionics) will be responsible for the following duties:

- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled avionics and maintenance tasks;
- Perform inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, modifications, installations, operational testing, etc., on all types of radios, radar systems, navigation systems, in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems, and other equipment;
- Document discrepancies and raise non-conformance reports in accordance with company policies and procedures and client manuals, as required;
- Determine the appropriate corrective actions required to rectify discrepancies;
- Perform a wide variety of avionics and maintenance activities;
- Carry out modification activities;
- Document maintenance actions in accordance with company policies and procedures and client manuals, as required;
- Complete various forms, tags, and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures and client manuals, as required;




- Estimate the time required to complete non-conformance reports and coordinate with various supervisors to ensure all job requirements have been considered;
- Identify purchasing needs and submit purchase requests;
- Work closely with various supervisors to ensure work is completed within established timelines;
- Route unserviceable, expired, or rejected parts awaiting disposition to quarantine;
- Ensure all replacement parts are properly inspected and certified before installation;
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (Transport Canada, FAA, etc.);
- Report any quality issues to the Production Manager and the Quality Department;
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Desired Profile

- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics specialization.
- Experience in avionics maintenance and inspection.
- Solid attention to detail, precision, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Transport Canada (TC) and FAA regulations is considered an asset.
