We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Supermarket Clerk/ Store Associate / Cooker to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly customer service.
- Stock and organize merchandise on shelves.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change.
- Check product prices and labels.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling stations, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Monitor product freshness and expiration dates.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high service standards.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous service experience in a supermarket or food industry setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling,
and basic math skills is essential for accuracy in transactions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with guests.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a quick-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
- Prior experience serving or working in a restaurant environment will help you excel in this energetic role.
