Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Accounting Analyst plays a key role in the centralized accounting function at RIMAP Hospitality. This person actively contributes to financial accuracy and operational efficiency while working closely with a committed and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for hotels and apartment properties.
- Reconcile apartment revenue (Hopem) and follow up with property managers.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries.
- Record revenue entries for hotels and apartment properties.
- Prepare financial statements for multiple hotels prior to review by the Regional Controller.
- Assist with budget preparation in collaboration with other regional team members.
- Validate payroll prior to submission by the payroll administrator.
- Enter accounts payable when required.
- Perform intercompany billing between hotels and apartment buildings.
- Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and pivot tables.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in hospitality is an asset.
