We are hiring a team member to join our accounting practice.
Bookkeeping or accounting background is recommended but it is not required if you are a smart individual and a quick learner; however, computer experience is required. You should be fluent and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and be able to navigate through Microsoft Windows.
Attention to detail, independent thinking, note-taking, professionalism, and letter writing skills are required. A very key component for this job is good English language writing abilities. If English is not your first language please ensure that you have strong English writing skills.
Work environment is easy and somewhat flexible, but you must be responsible and self-sufficient meeting deadlines.
We will provide training and as you gain experience you will be able to learn or expand your existing knowledge in the following:
-bookkeeping and the accounting cycle;
-T1 Return preparation;
-T2 Return preparation;
-HST Return;
-payroll and WSIB;
-business incorporation and registration
-business communications; and,
-enterprise level software and systems.
