Established in 1991, The Guild of Automotive Restorers is a world-renowned restoration facility, specializing in the repair, restoration, modification and sales of antique, classic and custom vehicles. The Guild’s creations have been featured on Leno’s Garage and various other TV shows, on radio and in print. We are a busy, award-winning restoration shop and every vehicle we restore is unique. From pre-war automobiles to muscle cars and custom builds, our technicians fabricate, repair and restore vehicles to standards that often exceed factory quality. What would a day look like as a Team member at the Guild?

- You will work as part of a team of automotive restoration specialists to balance the busy workflow.
- You will perform basic straightening and refinishing techniques on classic vehicles
- You will repair basic metal defects, align panels and improve factory fit and finish




- Inspect vehicles throughout the restoration process and communicate any additional repair requirements to the team.
- You may apply primer and other products as we work our way through the body repair process from bare metal to completed paint work.
- You may perform sanding and polishing techniques on finished paint work.

Who is our ideal candidate?

- · Valid Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer (Trade 310B)
- · Experience with the restoration of antique, classic and custom vehicles
- · Ability to balance efficiency with exceptional attention to detail
- Understanding of chemical and mechanical adhesion of products
- · Effective time management
- · Strong communication skills
- · Punctual, reliable, and can work well both independently and within a team
- · Team player, willing to learn and collaborate with others
- · Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- · Ability to take direction
- · Desire to do the job right the first time
- · Attention to detail
- · Use computer time clock and fill out timesheets with daily work descriptions accurately
- · Have your own tools
- · Detailed customer centric approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

- Innisfil, ON L9S 3W1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- Automotive Bodywork/Automotive Fabrication: 3 years (required)
