Hi there! We’re Aykah Furniture (www.aykah.ca) and we’re looking for a customer-focused Sales Associate to join our in-store team and grow with us.

As a Sales Associate at Aykah Furniture, you’ll be the face of our showroom - welcoming customers, guiding them through our collections, and helping them find pieces that feel right for their homes. You’ll combine product knowledge with a personalized approach to create a seamless shopping experience, while supporting daily store operations and contributing to our continued growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Open and close the store daily, including prepping the showroom for customers and securing it at end of day
- Keep the showroom clean and welcoming, with furniture properly set up and staged
- Greet and engage walk-in customers, offering personalized advice and product recommendations to close sales
- Assist customers across all channels (in person, phone, email, and Marketplace) with a skilled, helpful tone
- Resolve customer issues and concerns professionally and patiently
- Process transactions accurately (cash, credit/debit, and digital payments) and create customer invoices
- Schedule and coordinate customer pickups and deliveries
- Post and manage product listings on Facebook Marketplace to drive engagement and inquiries
- Respond promptly to Marketplace messages and online inquiries
- Support team members and collaborate on daily store operations

Who You Are

- Experienced in retail sales (2+ years preferred)
- Experienced in customer service (1–3 years preferred)
- A confident communicator who loves building customer relationships
- Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-driven
- Able to work weekends and occasional evenings
- Tech-savvy with strong multitasking and computer skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); a second language is a bonus!
- Eligible to work in Canada (Work Permits, PRs, and Citizens only – no students)
- Have weekend availability (both Saturdays and Sundays preferred)
