Duties

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Operate POS systems, process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Prepare a variety of beverages, including chai, coffee, and specialty drinks, maintaining high quality standards
- Serve food items with professionalism and attention to presentation, ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as packaging food orders and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area




- Manage cash handling responsibilities with basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions and float management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including tables, counters, kitchen and equipment
- Cleaning dishes if and when required

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience as a barista or in serving roles within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
