Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available for a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor at our 48th Avenue office in Langley, BC. If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License , and at least two years of insurance office experience in Personal Lines insurance, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- New quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
- Provide renewal terms and optional quotes
- Update evaluators when necessary
- Coverage for Auto Insurance as needed
- Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current
- Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Minimum Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License
- At least two years of Personal Lines insurance office experience
- Ability to assist/cover Auto Insurance, as required
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members
- Robust organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word & Excel
