Duties
- Support classroom teachers by preparing materials and resources for French lessons
- Assist in delivering engaging language activities tailored to early childhood education standards
- Work directly with children to practice conversational French, pronunciation, and vocabulary building
- Help create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students
- Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to learning
- Reinforce classroom rules and routines to promote a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to track student progress and provide feedback on language development
- Cleaning duties: mopping, dusting, tidying up the classroom
- Indoor and outdoor supervision
- Assisting the children in the washroom
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, teachers, and parents
- Passion for teaching languages and working with young learners
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Knowledge of basic math concepts to support integrated learning activities
