Job Description: Associate Lawyer – Family Law

We are a well-established and growing law firm located in downtown Vancouver with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal services. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an Associate Lawyer with experience in family law to join our team.

This position is primarily focused on family law matters, including parenting and custody disputes, support claims, and property division. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team that values flexibility, independence, and professional growth. This role offers the option to work remotely, with occasional in-office collaboration.

While our current need is in family law, there may also be opportunities to work on criminal and immigration law matters, depending on your interests and the firm’s caseload. These areas may include assisting on files involving criminal charges under the Criminal Code or immigration matters such as hearings and applications.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Experience in family law is required.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage files remotely.
- Courtroom or litigation experience is an asset.
