The Customer Service Representative serves as a primary point of contact for customers and sales representatives. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing customer orders, resolving inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the overall sales process.
Duties
- Customer Service - Providing order, inventory, and shipment updates while building strong relationships through proactive follow-up.
- Order Management - Accurately process customer purchase orders and validate them against pricing, guidelines, and program requirements to ensure timely, error-free fulfillment.
- Sales Support - Support sales reps with customer and account needs by promoting products and programs, recommending alternatives when inventory is constrained, and assisting with key account initiatives.
- Issue Resolution - Coordinate resolution of order, shipment, return, and credit issues — investigating, escalating, and following up to deliver solutions that satisfy customers and support company goals.
- Platform Support - Support customers on CB Corporate and other platforms,
assist with onboarding and account maintenance, and flag opportunities to improve service processes.
Requirements
- Collège diploma preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service or account support B2B experience (asset) Fluency in English (written and verbal) required
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, M3) considered an asset - asset Knowledge of CRM or order management systems
