Job Summary
Kemptville Retirement Living Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Kitchen Supervisor to oversee our dining room evening operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising dietary servers, ensuring food safety standards and maintaining a smooth and efficient dining experience. Previous experience in hospitality industry is a preferred to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Supervise and support kitchen staff while serving during evening shifts
- Assign tasks and monitor staff performance
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- Handle residents concerns and food quality when required
- Complete end-of shift procedures
- Train new kitchen employees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service and/or hospitality roles with a focus on supervising teams.
- Strong background in food preparation and food safety protocols..
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle resident concerns.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices.
- Previous experience in is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work evening shifts reliably
- Able to work every second weekend, every second Monday and every Friday or as required
Pay: $19.65 per hour
