We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Paint Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing expert advice on paint products, and driving sales through exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for home improvement, renovation, and construction projects. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with tools like SketchUp and CAD are a plus. As a key member of our retail environment, you will help customers select the right products for their projects while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisted customers in person and over the phone by answering product-related questions, providing guidance, and resolving inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Evaluated customer project requirements and recommended appropriate paint products, primers, stains, finishes, brushes, rollers, tapes, and other painting accessories to ensure complete project solutions.
- Mixed, tinted, color-matched, and shook paint accurately according to customer specifications using computerized tinting equipment while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Processed customer purchases, returns, and exchanges using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, ensuring accurate pricing, payments, and receipts.
- Maintained up-to-date knowledge of paint brands, product specifications, color trends, and application methods to provide informed recommendations.
- Assisted customers in selecting paint colors, finishes,



and quantities based on project size, surface type, and desired results.
- Verified inventory availability and assisted with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining an attractive, clean, and well-stocked paint department.
- Ensured tinting machines, paint shakers, and workstations were clean, organized, and operating safely in accordance with company procedures.
- Promoted complementary products and upsold related items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Handled customer concerns and product issues professionally, providing effective solutions to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborated with team members to maintain efficient store operations and meet daily sales and customer service objectives.
- Followed workplace health and safety guidelines when handling paints, stains, chemicals, and equipment.
