Duties
- Pack meat products accurately according to specified weight, size, and packaging standards
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to strict food safety regulations
- Assist with meat cutting and preparation processes as needed, supporting butchery tasks
- Monitor product quality throughout the packaging process and report any issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Support inventory management by labeling, organizing, and documenting packaged products
Qualifications
- Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food processing environments is preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry standards, including sanitation and food safety practices
- Basic understanding of butchery and meat cutting techniques is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating packaging machinery is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
