We have 2 PSW vacancies for Community Client in Penetanguishene area to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Need to have 2 plus years experience.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Provide personal care
- Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position.
- Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Provide behavior support and crisis intervention
- Maintaining open communication with client and their family
- Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned
- Follow Care Plan
- ADL's
- Clear and detailed care notes





Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:

- PSW certification is required
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
- CPI training is an asset**
- Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory
- Satisfactory professional references
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
