Overview

We are seeking a certified Electrical Journeyperson (309A) with hands-on electrical field experience to join our growing team. We are primarily interested in someone who is specialized in EMT conduit installation. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing complex installation of ¼” – 4” EMT conduit in a fast-paced environment and ensures all work meets local building codes and safety regulations.

This is a full-time, in-person position where you are required to be at the construction site in Oshawa from Monday to Fridays. Please ensure you have access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, and are able to commute within reasonable distance to the worksite.

Responsibilities

- Read, interpret, and accurately execute technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
- Execute complex technical tasks, troubleshooting, and installations with zero supervision
- Maintain a safe work workplace by following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Measuring, cutting, and bending conduit
- EMT conduit installation
- Pulling wire and installing panelboards, switchgear,



and lighting fixtures.

Qualifications & Skills

- Holds a valid Provincial Journeyperson license (309A) / Red Seal
- Advanced, hands-on mastery with trade-specific tools
- All Certificates must be valid and up-to-date for 6 months before expiry
- Safety Awareness in 4-Steps Certificate
- WHMIS Training Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Capacity to perform demanding physical labour, lift heavy objects (up to 25kg), and work in confined spaces or extreme weather conditions
- Strong leadership and communication skills to explain technical concepts to apprentices, clients and project managers

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
