Our client, a leading provider of cutting-edge solar energy solutions, is seeking a Temporary Finance Manager to join their dynamic and growing team. This is a contract opportunity ranging from six months to one year, with strong potential for permanency based on performance and business needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to take ownership of a developing finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing financial processes and systems, collaborating closely with the development and operations teams, and contributing to overall business growth—while benefiting from ongoing mentorship, resources, and organizational support.

- Pay Rate: $80,000 to $90,000 (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including performing regular account reconciliations.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Manage and support tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and financial planning activities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are met.
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.




- Collaborate cross-functionally with the operational and development teams to support business initiatives.
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and financial controls.
- Contribute to special projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.

Requirements:

- 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems; familiarity with Xero is considered an asset.
- High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
