D&W; Forwarders Inc. is one of Western Canada's fastest-growing transportation companies, providing reliable freight solutions across Western Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Super B Flat Deck Driver based in Edmonton, Alberta to join our regional operations.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 1 Super B flat deck truck to transport freight throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
- Load, transport, and deliver building materials, including lumber, shingles, drywall, and other commodities.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and bills of lading.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and operational updates.
- Follow all company, provincial, and federal transportation regulations.
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or delivery delays promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Super B flat deck driving experience.
- Experience loading and transporting lumber, shingles, drywall, and other building materials.
- Knowledge of transportation documentation, including:
- Pre-trip,



en-route, and post-trip inspection reports
- Driver logbooks
- Bills of lading
- Clean Driver's Abstract and safe driving record.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a basic security clearance.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of load securement and transportation safety requirements.
