Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Journeyman/woman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and maintaining sheet metal systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate and install sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal materials with precision to fit designated spaces.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless integration with other trades such as plumbing, carpentry, and restoration.
- Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, sealing joints, and restoring existing systems for optimal performance.




- Apply construction painting techniques where necessary to protect metal surfaces from corrosion or damage.
- Utilize schematics and technical guides to troubleshoot issues during installation or repair processes.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as snips, drills, hammers, and measuring devices.
- Strong construction experience with a focus on sheet metal work in commercial or residential projects.
- Knowledge of carpentry principles for framing and supporting structures related to sheet metal installations.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints and preventing leaks.
- Familiarity with restoration processes involving sheet metal components.
- Skills in construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and other related trades are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $21.74-$47.79 per hour
