Customer Service Representative / General Labourer (1-Day Event)

Job Type: Temporary / Casual (1-Day Event)

We're looking for reliable, energetic team members to help support a one-day event in Ottawa. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing great customer service, and being part of an event team, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Assist with event setup and teardown
- Greet and direct attendees
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with general labour tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area
- Work as part of a team to ensure the event runs smoothly

Requirements

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs




- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or with a team
- Previous event or customer service experience is an asset but not required

Available Shifts

Set Up Shift

Time: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Positions Available: 5

Event Crew Shift

Time: 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Positions Available: 12

Clean Up Shift

Time: 9:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Positions Available: 8

Applicants may apply for one or multiple shifts.

Compensation

- $18.00 per hour
- Opportunity for future event work based on performance
