We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Barista who shares our passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Job Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages, food prepping, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the daily tasks of the café. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering excellence in every aspect of the guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve specialty coffees, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café offerings to company standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, welcoming, and professional attitude.
- Assist guests with menu selections and product recommendations.
- Operate the POS system accurately to process orders and payments.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions with accuracy.
- Prepare and serve light food items while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café, including beverage stations, displays, and work areas.
- Restock inventory and supplies throughout each shift.
- Ensure food presentation and beverage quality consistently meet company standards.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive,



collaborative work environment.
- Help oversee the daily flow of café operations and maintain a high standard of service.
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.

Qualifications (Certificates)

- Minimum 2 years of barista experience in a café or specialty coffee environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or café management is preferred.
- Experience using POS systems ( Caviar POS or similar) is an asset.
- Knowledge of espresso equipment and specialty coffee preparation.

Certifications

- Valid Food Handler Certification (required).
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (required).

Language

- Fluent in English (required).
- Italian language skills are considered a strong asset and are preferred.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
