The 38-acre estate vineyard farmed organically and bio-dynamically is perfect for maturing late-ripening varietals including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Pinot Gris is also grown on the estate. Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from the Limestone Vineyard rounds out the estate portfolio.

Position Summary

Tawse Winery is recruiting for a Retail Winery Associate. This position is available in a part-time capacity, consisting of Saturday and Sunday shifts, full time hours may be available as well.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Learning about and working at both Tawse & Redstone Wineries concurrently
- Provide exceptional and memorable guest experiences for all customers
- Conduct structured tasting sessions and tours throughout the vineyards/facility
- Enthusiastically strive to meet daily sales targets
- Handle daily opening and closing procedures – including stocking and cleaning the store and polishing glassware daily
- Assist with the promotion, delivery,



set-up and tear-down of wine garden and events

Position Requirements

- Exemplary customer service skills with a proven track record in hospitality and sales
- Wine knowledge and previous tasting bar experience is preferred. WSET or other wine training a definite asset
- Ability to build a rapport with customers and promote products
- Comfortable with public speaking and a strong multi-tasker
- Must be able to safely lift and carry 40lbs or more on a regular basis
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods during 4 – 8 hour shifts
- Above the age of 18 with Smart Serve certification and access to personal transportation
