Bannister Honda Vernon is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, or Red Seal Journeyman Technician to join our professional dealership service department. Automotive Technician Pay & Benefits:

- Up to $45.00 per hour, flat rate (based on experience and productivity)

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles according to Honda manufacturer standards

- Perform automotive repairs including engines, transmissions, electrical, and drivability systems

- Complete routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake service, inspections, and tire rotations

- Use diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently

- Read and interpret automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals

- Conduct vehicle inspections to meet safety and compliance standards

- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation

- Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians to resolve complex repairs





- Follow dealership safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Automotive Technician Qualifications:

- Red Seal Automotive Technician or Registered 3rd/4th Year Automotive Apprentice

- Minimum 3 years automotive technician or dealership experience

- Valid driver’s license

- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

- Previous Honda or dealership technician experience considered an asset

- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and standing for extended periods

- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced dealership environment
