Join our vibrant food court team as a Food Court Service Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming environment for our members. In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, ensuring efficient food service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, member service, and food court operations while contributing to a lively and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare hot food. Rolls, shapes, add toppings and bake pizzas. Slices pizza, puts baked items in warmer. Steams hot dogs and buns, operate deep fryers.
- Rings up sales, collects money, makes change. Places whole pizza orders from members at the counter and on the phone. Assembles and presents orders to members. Uses tongs to pick up hot food items. Follows department production and cash handling procedures and standards. Provides prompt and courteous member service.
- Dispenses dessert and drink items such as ice cream cones and sundaes. Cleans sanitizes, services and refills dispensing machines.
- Maintains self serve pop area, condiment counter and eating area. Busses, cleans ans sanitizes tables, sweeps and mops floors, empties trash.
- Cleans and sanitizes the machines, work surfaces, floors, pans, utensils and counters. Takes garbage to trash compactor and operates compactor.



Follows safety and security procedures.
- Pulls ingredients and supplies from warehouse. Stocks large volume ingredients to shelves, cooler and freezer. Stages ingredients to preparation area and refill dispensing machines. Complies with health codes, such as sanitization, temperatures, product rotation and expiration dates

Skills

- Experience in food service or restaurant environments with robust member service skills preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to ensure quality and compliance is beneficial.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with members and team members
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, and sanitation practices preferred but not required.
