What You'll Be Doing
- Operating large-scale farm equipment — combine, or tractor and grain cart
- Doing pre-op checks and routine maintenance: greasing, cleaning, fueling, belts and chains
- Spotting and troubleshooting minor mechanical hiccups before they become big ones
- Operating safely, every time, no shortcuts
- Putting in extended hours — evenings and weekends during peak harvest, weather permitting
- Moving equipment between fields
- Keeping your cab clean and your workspace organized
- Staying in close contact and clearly communicating with the rest of the crew
What You Bring
- Equipment operating experience is a bonus, not a requirement
- A valid Class 5 licence and your own way to and from work
