We are hiring a reliable Class 1 truck driver to haul hay from Southern Alberta and Eastern Washington into the Fraser Valley, BC. This position involves flatdeck work, border crossings, and hands-on freight handling.

Responsibilities

- Safely haul hay on flatdeck trailers to the Fraser Valley
- Load and unload hay as required
- Secure loads properly (strapping, tarping when needed)
- Operate an 18-speed manual transmission
- Complete daily inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain logbooks and comply with all safety regulations
- Cross the US/Canada border when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 (or equivalent CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Minimum 2 years mountain driving experience
- Proven experience operating an 18-speed manual
- Flatdeck experience preferred




- Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable with long-haul and overnight trips
- Border-crossing eligible (passport required)
- Solid work ethic, reliability, and safety-focused mindset

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

- Hay or agricultural freight experience
- Border-crossing experience
- Mechanical aptitude
