About the Opportunity:
Homestar Inc. is looking for a motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to work extended hours, and a hands-on approach to getting the job done.

Location: Quispamsis, New Brunswick

Position: Full time, Permanent

Eligibility: Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities:

- Perform demolition and prep work for kitchen and bathroom renovation
- Install cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, flooring, and fixtures
- Frame walls, doors, and partitions as needed
- Complete drywall installation, taping, and finishing
- Perform painting, trim work, and final finishes
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Put together and take apart temporary structures
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Follow instructions from lead hands and project managers.
- Gutters and fascia installation
- Line painter
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:





- Experience in residential carpentry and renovations is a must
- Valid driver’s license Class 5 is required
- Criminal record clearance
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and endurance
- Willing to work long hours and in all weather conditions
- Mechanically inclined and safety-conscious (CSA-approved steel-toe boots required)
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and active listening skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
