Location: Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC — combined work location

Pay: $45–$55/hour, based on experience, plus a $5/hour Northern Allowance when working in Yellowknife

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to keep our equipment and machinery fleet running strong as we take on a growing list of projects across Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC. Beyond the wrench work, this role has real input into which projects we take on next — helping plan and estimate new work as we expand. The opportunity to become a partner in the business is available for someone who wants to grow into a bigger role as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed
- Identify and help plan new project opportunities, contributing to estimating when required
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Work across job sites and shops in both Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC as required

Qualifications

- Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal preferred)



or equivalent hands-on experience
- Solid diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience or interest in project planning and estimating is a strong asset
- Self-starter with strong business instincts
- Valid driver's licence; willingness to work across both locations
