Job Summary

Synergy Semiochemicals is a small, science-based manufacturing company specializing in semiochemical products for forest and tree protection. We work with government agencies, distributors, forestry professionals, researchers, and land managers globally.

We are seeking a full-time, in-house Marketing and Sales Lead Hand to implement marketing initiatives and provide customer-facing sales activities. This role is approximately 50% marketing and 50 % sales and customer support. We offer a small business environment where flexibility, initiative, and willingness to grow are important.

This position involves technical sales and customer education. It is well suited to candidates with a background or strong interest in science, environmental studies, forestry, biology, or other technical disciplines who enjoy learning specialized products and working directly with customers.

ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Support (50%)

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors

· Provide customer service support and resolve issues professionally

· Respond to website quote requests and technical product inquiries

· Answer incoming phone calls and customer emails

· Support group orders and distributor orders, including coordination and follow-up

· Maintain accurate customer and order records

· Communicate technical product information clearly and accurately

Marketing & Communications (50%)

· Create and distribute newsletters and targeted customer email campaigns

· Support lead generation and customer outreach initiatives

· Assist with website content updates and ongoing maintenance

· Drive creation of product technical sheets and supporting material

· Manage and grow the company’s social media presence

· Support online advertising and promotional campaigns





· Assist with company merchandise promotion and sales

· Help ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms

Additional Responsibilities

· Cross-training in other aspects of the business as required in a small-team environment

· Provide general administrative or operational support as needed

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of experience in scientific marketing and sales

· Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Forestry, or related field

· Background or solid interest in science-based education, technical training and communication,

· Comfortable with technical scientific sales and explaining products to customers

· Strong written and verbal English communication skills. We seek an excellent communicator who can help us to build and maintain a library of customer facing educational media

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

· Comfortable working independently and also as a team member in a small business setting

· Experience with email marketing platforms, websites, or digital marketing tools is an required

· Eager to learn and implement new technologies such as AI as the company grows
