Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in the hospitality industry.

Duties

- Greet guests as they arrive with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the flow of guests into the restaurant, ensuring efficient seating arrangements.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Assist with reservations and provide information about menu offerings and specials.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Support other restaurant staff during peak hours to enhance overall guest experience.





Requirements

- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, especially in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others create memorable dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
