Duties

- Prepare patients for dermatological examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process
- Assist physicians during skin treatments, biopsies, laser therapies, and other dermatology-specific procedures
- Administer medications and topical treatments accurately following physician orders
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including phlebotomy when needed, ensuring proper labeling and documentation




- Maintain detailed patient records using electronic health record system PS Suite
- Educate patients on skincare routines, post-procedure care, and medication usage to promote healing and wellness
- Manage patient flow efficiently

Qualifications

- Valid RN license with current registration in Ontario...CNO, RNAO
- Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics, preferably with dermatology or specialty care backgrounds is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures including phlebotomy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse patient populations about their skin health needs.

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
