We are seeking a skilled and dependable AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of freight handling, vehicle operation, and safety protocols, with additional skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair being a plus. Responsibilities

- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability
- Operate heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading cargo
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during transportation activities

Requirements





- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment, and automotive repair is preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading tasks and operate heavy equipment as needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or extended hours if required
