Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and fulfillment to meet production schedules and customer demands
- Manage shipping and receiving processes accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks and handle materials with mechanical knowledge to ensure safe handling of products
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Collaborate with team members on construction or manufacturing-related tasks requiring heavy equipment operation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations involving load & unload activities and heavy equipment use
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts or order pickers is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience will be considered a plus for understanding equipment maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of shipping & receiving processes and order fulfillment procedures
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork
