Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter/Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with expertise in various construction techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on mainly residential builds and renovations.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, plans and drawings
- Framing and sheeting wooden floors, walls and roofs
- Installing vinyl siding and trims, windows, doors
- Bending and installing metal fascia
- Repairing or replacing damaged components in existing structures
- Flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and leveling
- Ensure all work completed with precision, attention to detail and adhering to building codes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
- Engage in heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials throughout the job site.
- Able to work unsupervised or with another employee
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

- Carpenter/Apprentice




- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, blueprints and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction practices.
- Experience with framing, siding, flooring installation, deck construction and renovation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftmanship.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- First Aid/CPR certification (an asset)
- Reliable transportation
