SACL is seeking Community Support Workers who want to make a difference!

Duties include:

· Providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and assisting in their developmental growth and success.

· Assisting with personal care, including personal hygiene and self-care.

· Developing and participating in community activities and opportunities to enhance inclusion and acceptance in areas of recreation, leisure activities and employment.

· Ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain the following requirements prior to employment:

- BC Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- First Aid/C.P.R
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Driver's Abstract




- Use of a personal vehicle with $3,000,000 liability and business insurance
- Doctor's certificate of ability to perform all necessary physical duties
- Negative T.B. declaration or test results

Permanent positions of 20 hours or more qualify for health advantages after 3 months.

This position is open to all applicants "except where bona fide occupational requirements prevent it" (article 24.2) and the position requires union membership.

Pay: $28.46-$31.57 per hour
